Alex Eala made her Paris Fashion Week debut at Chanel's Spring/Summer 2027 show, where artistic director Matthieu Blazy unveiled his latest collection, GMA News reports. The show took place on Tuesday, Philippine time.
She did not go alone. Eala attended with her mother, Rizza Maniego-Eala.
"I'm a Chanel girl through and through," Eala told Vogue Philippines.
The show was held in Paris on Oct. 5 at the Grand Palais, where Eala sat front row in a Chanel tweed look, Preview reports. She posted selfies with her mom on her Instagram Story with the caption "A forever memory." Few Filipinos make Chanel's guest list; Preview names Kelsey Merritt, Bryan Boy and Dr. Vicki Belo among them.
The Chanel link goes back years. After becoming the first Filipina to win the US Open juniors singles title in 2022, a 17-year-old Eala wore Chanel earrings at her press conference.
Paris follows her New York Fashion Week debut in September. There, she attended the Tory Burch show, a Michael Kors presentation where she met Kelsey Merritt, and a Calvin Klein event.
Back home, fans can catch her at "Alex Eala Live: Game. Set. Celebrate," an exhibition against Janice Tjen of Indonesia at the Philippine Arena on Dec. 8.
